WORCS 2 – Year 1 – Low-Pressure Sewer System Work Order Construction Services (LPSS)

The WORCS 2 Contract is bid every three years and the awarded bidder can renew for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods with both parties agreeing to continue the bonded contract. Dallas 1 complies with Hillsborough Counties’ Minority, Women and Small Business Enterprise Program Dallas 1 Construction & Development have been blessed to have had the WORCS 2 Contract since August of 2010.
This current contract, 1st year, between Dallas1 and the Hillsborough County Board of Country Commissions was awarded on the 2nd day of September 2020 with the Notice to Proceed dated November 25, 2020.
The Scope of Work under this Contract is issued with individual Work Orders and may include, but is not limited to, the installation of prefabricated reinforced concrete interceptor tanks, grinder pump assemblies, electrical control panels, conduit, wiring, low-pressure service lines, tapping of existing force mains, general site restoration, traffic control, and other miscellaneous construction activities necessary for the successful installation of the LPSS facilities, including the retrofitting of existing LPSS facilities. Work performed to retrofit existing LPSS facilities may also include the removal and/or rehabilitation of existing tanks and other LPSS equipment.
The WORCS 2 Contract is currently under supervision by Assistant Project Manager, Stephen Chappelle. Foreman, Ryan Solano, and his crew work on the various Work Orders.
