State Road 39 Utility Extension is located in Plant City, FL
Dallas 1 Construction & Development is in Contract with the City of Plant City, FL to perform the construction for approximately 19,200 linear feet of 12-inch PVD water main, 10,200 linear feet of 8-inch PVC force main, one triplex pump station, and miscellaneous appurtenances necessary to provide the completed utility system ready for operation.
The utilities extensions include extending both water and sewer on SR39 South from the south end of Johnson Road, to Colson/Holloway Road. A total of approximately 1.71 miles. A 12 inch water main (WM), and 8 inch sewer force main (FM) currently exist on SR31 up to the south end of Johnson Road. Both the 12 inch WM and 8 inch FM on SR39 would be extended the 1.71 miles to Colson/Holloway Road. The utilities needs for the expansion would also include a City lift station. An alternate bid was also included in the contract with an addition of utility crossings to the west side of SR 39 to provide the ability to connect utilities on both sides of the road.
The Project is expected to have a completion date the first quarter of 2021.
